This pattern was inspired by Ida Lewis, American Lighthouse Keeper. It’s part of my 2022 project, “Above and Beyond - A Celebration of Women in History through Print and Pattern”.

Front and Back Panel Fabric: Cotton Canvas
Waxed Canvas Base: Field Tan
Inside Lining: Natural Cotton Canvas with two interior flat pockets
Exterior Dimensions: 14 inches wide x 10 inches high x 6 inches deep
I created the bag design, designed the fabric, screen printed the fabric, then sewed it all together with care.
Because this item is handmade, the print / pattern may vary.
Care instructions: Spot clean only. Waxed canvas may feel slightly tacky at first, but the wax will wear into the fabric, which creates a rugged appearance; perfect for the rainy Pacific Northwest.
