This floral pattern was inspired by Virginia Lacey Jones, American Librarian. It’s part of my 2022 project, “Above and Beyond - A Celebration of Women in History through Print and Pattern”.
This craft tool bag is perfect for knitting, crocheting or other art/craft projects when you’re on the go. This bag features hidden metal bars that keep the bag open.

- Unique screen printed fabric panels (front and back) with 2 exterior pockets on each side
- Chocolate Brown waxed canvas base fabric
- Six flat interior pockets plus four pen/hook/knitting needed slots
- Built-in metal bars to keep the bag open

Exterior Dimensions: 14.5 inches wide x 11 inches high x 7 inches deep
I created the bag design, designed the front panel fabric, screen printed the fabric panel and then sewed it all together in Portland, Oregon.

WOW. This bag is fantastic! Expertly crafted (seriously impressive construction, sturdiness, material quality). Not to mention that it is GORGEOUS. It is roomy enough for a larger project (sweater, blanket etc), lots of interior and exterior pockets for organizing notions, needles, pattern, etc., or you can put your phone and wallet in there and fiber-art on the go. I adore the owl/oak print design, the color is perfect and matches listing photos. I had my eye on this bag for probably over a year before making the purchase and I am so glad I finally went for it. I am sure this thing will keep my knitting projects beautifully organized and ready to travel for many years to come. Bonus, if you are between projects you can just put this thing on an occasional chair as a stylish decor item. 🙂
