This pattern was inspired by Eleanor Roosevelt, former First Lady of the United States, diplomat and activist. It’s part of my 2022 project, “Above and Beyond - A Celebration of Women in History through Print and Pattern”.

I created the bag design, designed the front panel fabric, screen printed the fabric panel and then sewed it all together in Portland, Oregon.
Because this item is handmade, the print/pattern may vary.
Care instructions: Spot clean only. Waxed canvas may feel slightly tacky at first, but the wax will wear into the fabric, which creates a rugged appearance; perfect for the rainy Pacific Northwest.
